Personal Information

On certain web pages you may be asked to submit personal information about yourself (eg registering on HPAC to use the Health Promotion Library) in order to receive or use services.

By entering your details you enable the Health Promotion Library to provide you with the services you request. When you provide personal information we hold that information securely and treat it in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The Health Promotion Library may use data gathered through your use of the Library to modify and improve Library services.

The terms and conditions of use (rules and regulations) of the Health Promotion Library are available on the Health Promotion Library registration page. You must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Library before you can register to use its services.

If you are aged 16 or under please get your parent\carer's permission before you submit any information to the Library.

Web site usage statistics

Information on the usage (e.g. hits, page views, number of visitors, etc) is gathered and used in aggregate.
